I’ve never worn fragrances for compliments but I want what I wear to work to be pleasant for others. Super big compliment gatherer, and I'm serious about it, especially if you are someone younger and want to save some dollars. Once it drys down it becomes a pleasant pineapple smell with a bit of woods which is a unique take on the aventus dna. In a few words: A better rounded take on CDNIM that is more fruity, a tad more smoky, and still an affordable, fantastic compliment magnet oozing with masculinity. I can certainly understand why some have compared it to Savage, as the ambroxan is similar in certain respects.

Now maybe a seasoned frag-head can tell the difference, but to this layperson this is literally Aventus but better in every way. The opening was rough to say the least, an overwhelming synthetic lemon- citrus scent that burns your nostrils and makes you regret your purchace within seconds. CDNIMLEP is a smokey aventus which is exactly the aventus that everyone originally fell in love with.Between this and the other two big ones, Montblanc Explorer and Al Haramain L'Aventure, and I think this is the best. It’s not my favorite I think Layton or Chanel Allure smell a lot better but nothing is as beast at compliments as this fragrance. It's now over a year later, and from the opening, to the dry down, it is a fabulous frag, that is super versatile, and can be worn all times of the year. After 30 minute drydown, I can say that this smells *identical* to Aventus, but *twice the sillage and longevity*.

By the way, I’m comparing this to my bottle of YSL Y edp, which easily lasts all day and easily fills the room no matter the hour of the day. I’ve received a lot of compliments wearing this, and it makes a great top layer during winter with a heavier fragrance.Nothing more, Nothing less (just like Vintage Aventus) Obviously the performance is better than CDNIM EDT, EDP and EDP LE. Anyhow, this is still a dumb reach for anyone looking for a super affordable, incredibly masculine compliment magnet that is both versatile and very well-blended. A provocative woody spicy masculine scent opens with fresh fruity notes of lemon, apple and blackcurrant leading to its opulent floral heart of rose and jasmine spiced up with birch to add a smoky leather nuance. There is one more thing that I think needs to be mentioned, and that may run counter to what other people on here appear to have experienced, but that's what I have experienced: this edition does not last as long as the EDT. I've had two bottles of CDNIM EDT and each one has had monstrous performance, AFTER LETTING THEM MACERATE.
