About this deal

If you have my first book Give Me Five then look for the games with a pencil tab at the top as they are all designed to develop fine motor skills.

Then once they’ve got the hang of that they do two wipes and I do a final one, then hopefully after that they should be able to attempt all three. All the little moments we spent playing five minute games, or reading with him, slowly but surely building the blocks have lead to this. This book is packed full of games and activities to help children feel confident and excited about learning. These games are roughly for ages 5-7 and are designed to make homework more fun or to encourage reading, writing and maths at home in an easy way, that doesn’t feel like a chore.

I come up with easy games and activities for little kids aged 1 and up, that take five minutes to set up (which means they also take five minute to clear away again - hurrah). Whatever your child really enjoys tell them those things will be there and ask them what they think they will find too.

All the games in my books are designed so that hopefully anyone can play them with just usual household stuff. Like I said before, chatting regularly about school is useful and mentioning that they can always ask a grown up for support or help with something is a very useful regular reminder. We had weekly books sent home, starting with those without words where you just talk together about the pictures.Explain anytime they are feeling worried, they can press their special love heart and it sends a magic cuddle to Mummy or Daddy and they can send one back. Daisy likes to celebrate this fact by eating large quantities of chocolate oranges and creme eggs (season dependant), and dancing in the kitchen.

So, to try and keep her sanity she started to come up with quick, easy games using stuff from around the house. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). Baker Ross have some fab crafting kits which I also got, as these are perfect for rainy days at home. Here are some fantastic posts from other experts who have kindly shared their wisdom in these brilliant five minute reads. For some children being able to draw simply requires showing them how to hold a pencil (one block) but for others they need to be shown how to draw each shape individually with support (lots of blocks).Starting School gives you and your little one glimpses of all the learning they will do and all the fun they will have. Five Minute Mum: On the Go is the ultimate companion to any journey, staycation or holiday: 80 games to keep little ones happily - and quietly!
