I received a 20ml sample of In Transit Camera Close-Up a while ago in one of the many Lookfantastic beauty boxes, but I started using it 1.5 months ago or so. It sounded promising and so I hoped that this primer-mask-moisturiser would become my new favourite. jessielee1511 GREAT BUY After using this from a sample in the advent calendar I really liked it. Here's the low-down: It's fragrant. It smells like lemon, so if you don't like that smell or just like fragrance-free in general, this might not be the best option for you. But if you're into it, it's a nice, fresh, citrus-y scent. Putting this stuff on is a pleasant experience thanks to the buttery texture. The cream feels rich and a little more dense, but it rubs on smoothly and has a dry finish that makes your skin look just like skin — not too oily, not too matte. And because it contains hyaluronic acid, you can feel the cream soothe and plump your dry skin, leaving it nourished and makeup ready. I don’t like layering many products on my face pre-makeup. As an oily skinned gal I find it really easy for products to make my skin feel heavy and my skin get greasy feeling or looking faster. So the fact that this is a three in one is already a plus as there are less steps that need to be taken. For me as someone who really doesn’t like something really intense and heavy I like it and it does the job enough for me – it’s on the lighter end of the spectrum for hydration and if you were someone with dry skin I don’t feel like this would do enough.

It seems that there is a study showing RP being photo protective against UVB rays but there is also a study showingRP causing DNA damage and cytotoxicity in association with UVA. I did however feel like the This Works In Transit Camera Close Up really helped with oil control – I was expecting over a few days this was going to be a product that I would want to layer with my MAC Oil Control Lotion, but actually I was happy with the longevity of Oil Control without. Redlady Great product This product has a really good texture and acts as a primer and matifying agent. I would reccommend it. MirMc Not the same product! As others, I bought this after using the sample in the beauty box which I loved. Unfortunately the product I received, feels and smells nothing like the sample! Oh, and it also contains Hyaluronic Acid to plump the skin, and caffeine, to make you look refreshed. I generally come off even a short flight looking like I haven’t slept in my life, so that sounded promising, too.) Overall I like the This Works In Transit Camera Close Up however I feel as if for how much I needed versus what it actually did. I think maybe if you were on the normal-dry spectrum you might get more benefits out of the moisturiser and mask elements of this mask. But for oily skinned gals, personally I think this is a bit steep and there’s other products that work better and offer better value. Dubbed as the " liquid gold of Morocco", we have to admit we have some trouble determining why this oil enjoys such a special miracle status. Not that it's not good, it is good, even greatbut reading the research about argan and a bunch of other plant oils we just do not see the big, unique differentiating factor (though that might be our fault not reading enough, obvs.) As we wrote in our lengthy retinol description the problem is that the conversion is not terriblyeffective. The evidence that RP is still an effective anti-aging ingredient is not very strong, in fact, it's weak. Dr. Leslie Baumann in her fantastic Cosmetic Dermatologybook writes that RP is topically ineffective. It also leaves my skin looking brighter, which helps me look awake and like I've maybe seen a little sun, which I have not since August. After I give it a second to soak in, putting on my makeup becomes smooth sailing. I use the Maybelline New York Dream Cushion as my foundation, and the Wander Beauty Concealer for my undereyes and the occasional spot here and there, and this cream acts an amazing base. My makeup looks fresh, even (no splotches!), and glowy, and it stays that way all day long.
