In today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed that the Noah & Mio amiibo — from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 — will be available from 19th January 2024. Revealed during today's Nintendo Direct focused on the upcoming Xenoblade title, you'll be able to tap your amiibo while you're playing to receive some helpful items. Yep, that's any amiibo! Tap a compatible amiibo to the NFC touchpoint on the right Joy-Con controller or the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and their figure player will appear in your game! The figures feature a near-field communications technology which allows them to be scanned and in Nintendo's gaming consoles and brought to life as game characters.
